What To Wear For A Senior Session | Bloomington Senior Photographer

As a High School Senior Photographer, one of the first questions I always get is “what should I wear to my senior session?”

One of the most important things to remember is to bring a VARIETY of styles. If you only bring dresses, it can limit us from certain poses that include sitting so make sure you bring a jeans outfit as well.  If you bring dresses, flowy ones are always fun!

Bring color to your senior session!  I love color.  Colors to avoid would be anything neon, solid white and solid black.  Solid colors photograph great but if you decide to bring a pattern just make sure that its not a busy pattern such as pinstripes.  Larger patterns will photography much better.  We don’t want to draw attention away from the star of the show, YOU.  Bring long sleeved shirts too. Sleeveless and cap sleeved shirts make arms looks bigger so bring long sleeves too. Once your senior session is booked we will go over this more in depth and you will be given a guide to help you choose wisely.

Accessories take your session from OK to FABULOUS!  Bring those bold necklaces and bracelets!

Be sure if you are wearing socks that they are not white if your outfit is dark.

Make SURE your clothes are WRINKLE FREE.  This is so important is often forgotten.  If your clothes are wrinkled when you wear them they will be wrinkled in your photos!

But most importantly, be YOU.  Because YOU are amazing 🙂
