#MCStrong – Pay It Forward – Michael Collin’s

#MCStrong – Pay it forward for Michael Collins… WOW! What a movement.

On March 29, 2014, in Bloomington, Illinois, A drunk driver ran a red light, t-bones a car, the kids in the t-boned car were hurt very bad, the drunk driver had minor injuries. Michael Collins was a passenger in the T-Boned car. On April 2, 2014, Michael Collins passed away. Being an organ donor, he was able to help so many people. I did not know Michael but the love and support that has been floating around our community in his honor has been so overwhelming. #MCStrong is EVERYWHERE! Someone set up a facebook page ‘Pay It Forward for Michael Collins’ to encourage the world to do random acts of kindness in Michael’s honor. What started out local has now been seen all over the United States. This page can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/events/247105598806537/

“A very generous person has arranged for cookie deliveries to various locations around town this morning. This person wanted to remain anonymous but wanted us to post a picture of the cookies being sent to some very special people in the community.” – This was at Denny’s Doughnuts

When’s the last time YOU did something nice for someone? I encourage you to join me in this beautiful thing that’s going on. You just never know what people are going through, you never know the hurt they are feeling inside and how just a small gesture can totally make their day. It is always better to give than to receive. So head on out, do a nice gesture for someone. Make sure you come back here and post what you did. I’d love to hear YOUR story! 🙂

My prayers are with the friends and families that have been affected by this tragedy. And remember to NEVER drink and drive.

Blessings,
Karen
