Jake & Amanda | Bloomington, IL Wedding at Eastland Suites
Congratulations to these cute newlyweds, Jake & Amanda! Their September wedding at Eastland Suites in Bloomington, IL was full of love, joy, and excitement. It was so sweet to watch two pledge their love to each other and celebrate this new beginning in front of all their family and friends.
Jake & Amanda have a Poodle named ‘Nacho’ who was their ring bearer. He was ADORABLE! Nacho is also a therapy dog which I think is super cool. AND… He has his own instagram account! Gotta love that. 🙂
I asked Amanda to tell me about her love story.. And here it is….
“We met at Western Illinois University in August 2013. I was going into the dojo to sign up for karate classes. Jake was instructing a kids class. After I signed up I went out to my car to leave. While I was backing up I ran into his green truck. I walked into the dojo and asked who was the owner of a green truck. Jake said he was. We walked out to the parking lot to check the damage. I asked him if he wanted my insurance information and he said no he would just like my number. About a week later we went on our first date. We saw Red 2 and were the only ones in the theater.
In August of 2017, we went Kemolls in St. Louis, Missouri where he had made reservations for us. The restaurant was at the top of a sky scraper and over looked the arch. He asked the waitress to take a picture of us and then he got down on one knee and proposed 🙂 “
I wish a lifetime of health and happiness to these two. I feel honored to have been such an important part of such a wonderful day.
