Hi, I’m Karen, a photographer with over 14 years of experience helping people feel confident in front of the camera. I believe photography should feel natural, relaxed, and empowering, whether you’re booking a boudoir session, a branding shoot, or professional headshots.
I’m based in Bloomington, Illinois and regularly work with clients from Champaign and surrounding areas. Many Champaign clients make the easy drive to the Downtown Bloomington studio for a private, calm experience, while others choose on-location sessions. Either way, I guide you through every step so you feel comfortable, confident, and completely supported from start to finish.

Yes. There’s easy parking available near the Downtown Bloomington studio, so you don’t need to stress about where to leave your car before your session.
Should I bring anything to my session?
Just yourself and any outfits or accessories that make you feel confident. If you’re unsure what to bring, Karen will guide you ahead of time so you feel prepared and relaxed when you arrive.
What Should I Wear for My Boudoir Session?
Wear what makes you feel fabulous! Whether it’s luxurious lingerie, a favorite outfit, or something more casual, the choice is yours. Need some inspiration? We’re here to help with suggestions!
Do you offer payment plans
Absolutely! We offer in-studio prepayment plans as well as payment plan options through Klarna, Paypal Credit, Affirm and Afterpay. 99% of our clients take advantage of this and it unlocks free bonuses by doing so!
How far in advance should I book my session?
We recommend we do your photo session at least 8 weeks before you need your product delivered, especially if it is for a gift. This allows enough time for viewing, editing, retouching, album production, and delivery. We usually are booked out 3-4 months.
What About Privacy and Discretion?
Your privacy is our top priority. Every image is handled with the utmost discretion, and we never share your photos without your explicit permission. Feel secure knowing your experience and images are confidential.
Do You Offer Hair and Makeup Services?
Yes, we can arrange professional hair and makeup services for your session. Let us know in advance, and we’ll coordinate everything to ensure you look and feel your absolute best.
What Types of Products Do You Offer?
At your photo reveal, you’ll get to see and touch samples of our exquisite range of products. We’re proud to offer stunning acrylic cover albums and luxe albums, each carefully crafted and imported. These are heirloom-quality pieces, designed to preserve your memories for a lifetime. For those looking to add a touch of elegance to their home, we also have a variety of wall art options. Do I have to get naked?
You DO NOT have to get naked during your shoot. It is my priority to make you feel as comfortable as possible and we will only have you bare as much or as little as you are comfortable with. This shoot is for YOU, therefore you decide.
Where are you located?
Our studio is located in Downtown Bloomington, IL but we have clients that come from all over! Champaign, IL, Peoria, IL, Chicago Area, Springfield, IL, Decatur, IL, Peru, IL, Naperville, IL, are a few of the places our clients drive from. We have even had people fly in from other states for a session!
I don’t know how to pose, will you help?
Absolutely! You don’t need any modeling experience to have a fabulous boudoir session. Karen is skilled at guiding you through poses that flatter and feel natural. She’ll be with you every step of the way to ensure you feel comfortable and look stunning. Our goal is to make the experience enjoyable and effortless for you, capturing your beauty in poses that reflect your personality and style.
