Springfield, IL Wedding | Cathedral Church of St. Paul

Mark & Megan’s wedding day started with hair and makeup over at BJ & Co. there in Springfield, IL. They did a wonderful job on the bride and all the bridesmaids. The salon was such a classy place!
After we finished up there we headed on over to the church. Cathedral Church of St. Paul is where the getting ready and wedding ceremony took place. It was gorgeous. Lots of details and lots of red carpet. The wedding programs sat by the door where people entered and the isles were decorated with bows.

Mark was so overwhelmed when he seen his bride coming down the isle. He stood there crying as his brother stood by his side comforting him. It was just so sweet.

After the wedding ceremony we did some quick wedding photos witt the Illinois Capital Building in the background and a few at a Lincoln Park. We finished the day at the wedding reception which took place at the Knights Of Columbus. The groom with his dad & brother showing up in their Kilts was definitely one of the highlights of the evening. No one knew they were doing this.
